Position 2: Senior Licensing Manager

Responsibilities:
1. Both positions work with FSU faculty and staff to identify, evaluate, market, and protect intellectual property; meet with faculty and staff members one-on–one to learn about their work, identify potential commercial opportunities; attend faculty seminars and events to establish relationships and to promote available resources, and work with outside firms to design protection for identified intellectual property.
2. Identify commercialization opportunities for University IP including independent negotiators and draft license agreements developing terms, structure, and agreement language with established companies and/or identify potential startup company opportunities.

Qualifications:  Master's degree in an appropriate area of specialization and one-year related experience; or bachelor’s degree and three years’ experience related to research administration, technology transfer or commercialization.
